Loose Words...

(Game number 4, best of 7)

The New York Yankees came to Philadelphia and in two games they got two wins.  For the Bronx Bombers, it is the highest they have been since 2003, when they lost in the World Series to the Florida Marlins.  However, the main thing to look at is the type of post-season performance that A-Rod (Alex Rodríguez) is having.  Up to this year, A-Rod and post-season performance were two things that did not fit in the same sentence.  In game four A-Rod had the game-winning RBI, which was one more of many big hits he has had in the this year’s post season.  So, the New York Yankees are only one game away from winning the 27th title in franchise history.
For the Phillies, things do not look good.  Sure, Cliff Lee will be pitching game five, but they need to win two more games — the next two.  The Phillies are known to be the never-die team.  This time around, however, Cliff Lee has to come to the rescue so the team from the City of Brotherly Love can stay alive and take their chances in game six and hope that there will be a game seven.
With their backs against the wall, lets see what the Phillies can do!  For the Yankees, can they finally win the 27th title and forget Mariano Rivera’s blown save against the Arizona Dimondbacks in 2001, in that last swing by Luis González?
